Jen Lesshafft, Community Director Elect

Jen Lesshafft has been a member of the Junior League of Daytona Beach since 2015. In addition to serving on various committees throughout her years of dedication to the League, she chaired the Spring Fling committee in 2017, and co-chaired the 2019 Sweetheart Ball.

Jen is the Associate Director of Donor Engagement at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where she has been employed since 2012. In this role within the Office of Philanthropy, she works to show the impact philanthropy has at the university by managing stewardship initiatives, hosting events for donors, and overseeing scholarship creation. Prior to her role in Donor Engagement, she served as Annual Giving Coordinator at Embry-Riddle, helping the university raise funds to support scholarships and other university initiatives. Before coming to Embry-Riddle in 2012, she was the Alumni Relations Coordinator at a small chiropractic college in Marietta, Georgia.

Jen holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of North Florida and a Master of Science in Management from Embry-Riddle. Jen is currently enrolled in Leadership Daytona’s XXXIX class. She is a member of the Association of Donor Relations Professionals (ADRP), the Council of Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), and the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). She has been serving on the local AFP chapter’s National Philanthropy Day committee since 2014.

Jen and her husband, Chris, reside in Daytona Beach and have two small children, Claire (4) and Emmett (2). They also have two dogs, a goldendoodle, Daphne, and a schnoodle, Canaan. When she isn’t working or serving the Junior League, she enjoys spending time with her family exploring new playgrounds, visiting Disney World, and running. Fun fact: Jen and Chris and trying to run a 5k in all 50 states – 20 states down, 30 to go!
