Amy Ringue, Ph.D., has been a member of the Junior League of Daytona Beach since 2012, and has served on the JLDB Board of Directors for three years in the positions of Community Council Director and President-Elect. She recently chaired the 2018 – 2022 Strategic Planning Committee.
She currently works as the Academic Chair for the School of Education at Daytona State College. Her interests include assessment and continuous program improvement in education. A National Board Certified Teacher, she has 13 years of public school teaching experience and collaborates with the Florida Department of Education, Volusia, and Flagler County Schools on various grants and cadres. In the community, she is a graduate of Leadership Daytona Class XXXIV and is on the boards of FUTURES and Phi Delta Kappa. She also volunteers with Missing Peace ministry on various community projects including assistance at local homeless shelters and refugee children.
Amy happily lives in Ormond Beach with her loving husband, Alan, and their two wonderful children, Christopher and Eleanor.
