As a member to the Junior League of Daytona Beach it is our mission to make your experience fun and rewarding. We plan social gatherings and networking opportunities during the year so members can get to know each other. We also ask that members participate in events and projects that are organized to fulfill the League's mission. New members joining the League for the first time have abbreviated requirements. What to Expect as a Time Commitment as an Active Member - Attend (7) out of 9 monthly General Membership Meetings (GMM)
- Participate in placement assignment
- Complete (9) hours of Community Service
- Complete (9) hours of Fundraising - (3) of which should be completed at the Thrift Shop.
Community & Fundraising hours are available during the day, at night and on the weekends to accommodate everyone's schedules. Friends & family volunteers may often count toward your hour commitments. What to Expect as a Financial Commitment as an Active Member - Dues of $120 for the year - payment plans are available
- (2) Thrift Shop donations with a value of $75 or more
- You may purchase items for events that can count toward your hour commitments
