Grants - Application Process
The Junior League of Daytona Beach, Inc. distributes grants to community agencies every year. Last year we gave out over $19,000 to local agencies. Past recipients have included: The Volusia Literacy Council, The House Next Door, Community Partnership for Children, Family Renew Community and Kidds First Inc.
Funding for this project is raised through our Thrift Shop, Casino Night, Sweetheart Ball and other various fundraisers held throughout the year. This year there will be $19,000 for distribution between many grants. To apply for a grant please fill out an application: Application letter

The following “rules” apply in order to participate:
- Your agency must be approved by the IRS as a nonprofit, charitable or educational organization.
- The grant requests may not exceed $3000
- These purposes must be of an immediate or emergent need
- The money must be used for a specific purpose. This can be for a purchase or something that will impact direct service.
In addition, to any funding that we may provide you via a grant that is awarded, our League is very committed to the community and is very interested in seeking out “hands on” projects that could be done for your organization. In addition, as part of the award process we would like to see that the Junior League of Daytona Beach is acknowledged for helping make whatever project you are awarded for possible. This acknowledgment can come in the form of permanent signage, mentions in your newsletter or on your website.
